Art has always been one of the most powerful ways to tell a story, spark conversation, and inspire action. Friends of Affordable Housing is proud to announce our Housing Through Art Competition, inviting artists of all kinds to share their unique perspectives on gentrification, homelessness, affordable housing, and the future of our communities.
Whether you’re a painter, photographer, musician, poet, illustrator, sculptor, digital artist, filmmaker, or creator of any kind, we want to see how you express these important issues through your work. This is your opportunity to use your creativity to raise awareness and help start meaningful conversations about the housing challenges affecting families across our region.
The winning artist will receive a $1,000 cash prize, selected by our panel of judges. We will also work to secure matching funds to further support this initiative and celebrate the incredible talent within our community.
Every submission represents more than just art. It represents a voice, a story, and a vision for a stronger, more equitable future. We encourage creators of all ages and backgrounds to participate and help shine a light on one of the most important issues facing our communities today.
Ready to compete? Click the button below and let your creativity make a difference.
